Any Knights in shining armor out there? Actually, I don't have to have the shining armor and I don't need the Knight either.... What I do need, though, is a man who will appreciate a good woman who will treat him like he is a man and will enjoy the time they spend together. There are some still some good women out here, just as I know there are still some good men out there. I'm a single mom of a 12 year old who will be with me until she graduates high school. This being said, out of town trips or weekend stays are something that aren't in my near future (at least not often anyway). I am very independent and know how to take care of myself but still prefer the man to do the leading.
I love to be on the water, and I prefer lakes and rivers to the beach, except at night. I love the sound of the ocean at night, the sound of rain of a tin roof, sitting in front of a roaring fire snuggled up in someone's arms, candles (don't all women)riding the 4-wheeler, and jet-ski and boating, and a baby's laugh. I like to go to auctions, yard sales and read but don't get to do much of it. I like to hold hands and steal little kisses and have private jokes and a man who winks. I'm told I have a terrific sense of humor and am loyal to a fault. I love people with a sense of humor. Laughter can make the worse situation tolerable. I like comedy shows, plays, (only a couple of musicals) and movies...Guys, I'll even WATCH Monday night football with you!!! My tastes in music runs mostly to classic rock of the 70s and 80s, the old country, (and some of the new country), love the blues, some jazz, and soul...
The man I would be interested in would have a great sense of humor and know how to laugh, love his mother (but not so much that she would dictate what he does) and know how a woman is supposed to be treated and to treat her that way. I want to look at him first thing in the morning and smile. I want to go to sleep at night with my lips still moist from his kiss. I want to think about him during the day and wish the day to hurry so I can feel his arms around me when I get home. I want to call him on the phone just so I can hear his voice. AND I want him to want the same things. He would be patient and have a calm disposition. He would be mature (not so much in age as in acts) but not lazy or lifeless... I want to have fun and enjoy our time together.
